Brake Shoe Kit, Axle Set

The IT-BS4707 Brake Shoe Kit, Axle Set includes both left and right sides for one axle — new bonded linings on remanufactured, machined and inspected shoe cores. Sized to fit the common 16.5 in x 7 in Q-style brake assembly used on most heavy-duty trucks and trailers running in the Cayman Islands. Linings are formulated for the mixed stop-and-go delivery duty typical of Grand Cayman — sustained braking on the flat, low-speed loading and unloading in George Town, and the occasional harder stop on the East–West Arterial. Ships with new springs, retaining hardware and installation instructions; anti-rattle clips optional. Always replace brake shoes in axle pairs to keep braking balanced. Stocked at our George Town workshop and delivered island-wide with cash on delivery. Safety-critical wear item — install with a torque wrench to spec and bed in properly before returning to full-load service.
